As we enter the beginning of each month, we are grateful for the monthly donations that cater to the basic needs of our orphans, such as food, soap, and other essentials. These contributions help ensure that the children have the necessities to get through the month.

For June, we received 1500 euros, equivalent to 6,030,000 Ugandan shillings, and here is how it was utilized:

Firewood

During the month of May, we borrowed some firewood to assist in cooking food for the orphanage. We have now managed to clear this debt with a payment of 400,000 Ugandan shillings.

Food

In the middle of May, we ran out of food and had to borrow some soap and food to get through the crisis until the end of the month.

This June, we have been able to purchase maize flour, beans, and some soap to ensure we can provide food for our orphanage members throughout the month. The soap will promote hygiene among the children and help with washing clothes and bathing.
