Orphans of Uganda Children Center Bugiri, being an orphanage home for needy children, this means there elders people helping and guiding these children in various ways. Each staff members has a bigger role in the raising of these children and parenting skills.
Caretakers:
Those who are happiest are those who do the most for others. “Help others without any reason and give without the expectation of receiving anything in return. Service to others is the rent you pay for your room here on earth. “We know only too well that what we are doing is nothing more than a drop in the ocean.
Currently, there three staff members at Orphans of Uganda Children Center Bugiri, each has a big role in the monitoring and caring for these children. and these caretakers include Sowali, Byarugaba and Mary Adongo and there responsibilities are.
Byarugaba isma
He is the organization managing director, co founder of the organization, his role is controlling orphanage work, implementation of donors requests and inspection of all activities at the organization, security guard, monitoring everyone at organization, control of decision making and donation expenditures.
Sowali
He is religious leader, a patron, a parent for both girls and boys who helps the director implement actives at the orphanage. a security guard, a cleaner and some times a cook and helps in washing clothes for younger ones and bathing the male younger children.
Adongo Mary
she is acting as the a metron, a cook, girls guide parent and a mother for all children. However she is not a permanent volunteer as she came in to be helping as we try to find a permanent worker for these roles. But so far she has been with us for past five months.
NB There is a need of more helpers to help in various ways at the orphnage as one person as now has like six to seven responsibilities.
